"Dear Schwede family,
after our daughter was born in August of this year, we were suddenly faced with a great challenge. Our daughter was struggling with colic!
This meant she screamed almost constantly, couldn't find her way to sleep, and if she did fall asleep, she immediately had cramps again and woke up from the pain. Our days then mostly consisted of having to carry the little one around constantly and we found no time to shower, cook food, clean, yes, almost not even to go to the toilet. When we finally got the little one to sleep after about an hour of rocking her in our arms, she got a cramp again, was in pain, was awake – and the whole thing started all over again. During this time, we were really at our wits' end. Overtired, exhausted – our nerves were shot.
In consultation with our midwife and also our pediatrician, we tried various things like Carum Carvi suppositories for flatulence, Lefax Pump Liquid, Bigaia drops and much more. Nothing helped. Of course, we also visited the pediatrician several times. We were thus able to rule out an actual illness. So we put the little one inside and could hardly believe it: she slept through for over three hours! When she woke up, she was significantly more balanced and relaxed. We could have literally cried with joy.
We now use the automatic baby hammock basically during the day, and at night the little one sleeps in her bed. Also the worries we had at the beginning that the little one might not sleep in bed at all through the use of the automatic baby hammock were completely unfounded. We had no problems with it at all.
Now our days look like this: she takes smaller naps in the automatic baby hammock about three times a day, and we have time for all the important things again: catching up on lost sleep from the night at lunchtime, cooking and eating properly instead of constantly just frozen food, keeping the house tidy, doing laundry and everything else that goes with it.
